Monsoon will be normal this year according to a meteorological forecast. Between June and September, the rainfall in the country as a whole is likely to be in the range of 96 to 104 per cent. Addressing the media in New Delhi on Thursday, the Minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh said periodic forecasts of rainfall will be issued from June onwards.
