The Rajya Sabha has witnessed noisy scenes over several issues including attack on dalits and atrocities on minorities across the country on the second day of monsoon session today. As soon as the House met for the day AIADMK members trouped into the well raising slogans against the NDA government with regard to farmers issues.<br/><br/>Ms. Mayawati of BSP, who staged a walkout alleging that she was not allowed to raise the issues of the attacks on Dalits and Minorities especially, in the BJP-ruled states. She also threatened to resign from the Membership of the House if she is not allowed to raise the issues. She was countered by BJP Members. <br/><br/>Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Muktar Abbas Naqvi said she is challenging the Chair and she should apologize. Following this, BSP members protested against the government and trooped into the well of the House raising slogans. Later, Members belonging to Samajwadi Party and some Congress members supported the issue. <br/><br/> Leader of the opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad alleged that the government is not allowing opposition to raise the issues pertaining to attacks and atrocities on Dalits and Minorities. He said if the government assures that a proper discussion can be taken up in the House on the issue they will stand by the government. <br/><br/>Responding to this Mr. Naqvi said the government is ready for discussion on any issue. Later, Congress members staged walk out. Meanwhile, SP and BSP members again trooped into the well raising slogans. <br/><br/>Sitaram Yechury of CPIM supported Mayawati saying that she has raised the issue of dalits. Deputy Chairman Dr. P.J. Kurian adjourned the House for 35 minutes till Noon.
