The Monsoon session of Parliament will commence on the 17th of next month. Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, in separate press releases, said the almost month long session will conclude on the 11th of August subject to exigencies of government business.<br/><br/>On the first day of the session, proceedings are not likely in view of death of Lok Sabha sitting member Vinod Khanna and Rajya Sabha sitting member Pallavi Reddy. AIR correspondent reports that the voting for Presidential elections will also take place on 17th July, the first day of the session.
