The Monsoon session of Parliament concludes today. The whole session has been washed out due to protests by the Opposition, led by Congress, on the Lalit Modi controversy and Vyapam scam. <br/><br/><br/>The meeting of Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs is now underway, after which the meeting of NDA floor leaders from both Houses will be held to discuss their strategy to clear important pending legislative business and the future course of action.<br/><br/>Congress President Sonia Gandhi will meet all Lok Sabha MPs of her party in Parliament today.'On the penultimate day of the session yesterday, Government rejected Congress' demand of resignation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj over the Lalit Modi controversy. <br/><br/>The adjournment motion moved by the Congress was defeated by a voice-vote in the Lok Sabha. The Rajya Sabha was also adjourned for the day yesterday after witnessing unprecedented uproar by the Opposition.
