The Monsoon session of Delhi Assembly begins today. It will have five sittings and will continue up to the 5th of next month. Assembly Speaker Yoganand Shastri said that two bills – Criminal Procedure Code Delhi Amendment Bill – 2011 and Delhi VAT – Second Amendment Bill- 2011 will be introduced in the house for consideration. Discussion on the issues relating to development of unauthorised colonies, control of crime in the capital and environmental pollution control will also be taken up.
