Monsoon session of Chhattisgarh Assembly begins today

The monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh Vidhan sabha began on Monday. The session will continue up to the 3rd of August and will have a total of seven sittings. Though brief, this session of the state assembly is likely to be important in view of the fact that the Opposition Congress may raise many issues such as the rising incidences of naxal attacks in the state and the alleged irregularities in matters like electricity, Pradhan mantri Gram Sadak Yojana etc
