Monsoon Mayhem: Rescue ops on in Haryana

<br/>The flood situation continues to remain grim and normal life out of gear in Punjab. However, flood waters have started receding in the state. <br/><br/>Haryana Chief Minister has deputed Ministers and Chief Parliamentary Secretaries to supervise the relief operation to provide help to the flood-hit people. <br/><br/>Situation has improved in three most-affected districts. In Ambala and Kaithal, more than two dozen villagers continued to remain under water due to rain and breaches in the embankments of Tangri river and Hanshi-Butala canal. The water level in several flooded areas of Ambala except Naggal has started receding. The Army is carrying out rescue and relief operation on war footing.
