In Karnataka, monsoon has intensified in a few districts. The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre report says that monsoon is normal in 12 districts and weak in 18 districts of the state. Dakshin Kannada, Udupi, Chickmagalur, Uttara Kannada and parts of Belgaum in north Karnataka received normal rain. Agroclimatic professor in Gandhi Krishi Vigyan Kendra Raje Gowda, has said that monsoon will intensify by this month end and make up for the deficiency faced in the last two weeks.
