The much awaited south-west monsoon is likely to hit national capital Delhi in the next 48 hours. Talking to All India Radio, Director General of IMD, LS Rathore says, the city has already recieved pre-monsoon showers this morning in some parts of the capital.Meanwhile, the minimum temperature was recorded at 29.1 degree celsius, a notch above normal while the maximum stood at 41.1 degree celsius, four degrees above normal yesterday. According to the Met department, city will have a generally cloudy sky during the day. It said, thunder storms along with rain may occur towards the evening or night in the city and its adjoining areas. Today's minimum and maximum humidity oscillated between 39 and 61 per cent. The weatherman has predicted the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 38 and 27 degrees celsius.
