The much-awaited south-west monsoon has hit Odisha and is likely to cover the entire state in the next two days as the conditions are favourable. Under its impact, many coastal and southern districts of the state including capital city Bhubaneswar have experienced heavy rain. The Bhubaneswar Meteorological office has predicted heavy to very heavy rain in some parts of coastal and interior Odisha in the next 24 hours due to formation of a low pressure near Odisha coast over Bay of Bengal.
