Monsoon finally arrives in Mumbai

Monsoon has finally arrived in Mumbai. According to the Mumbai Met department, the Colaba station of south Mumbai has recorded 67 mm of rainfall and suburban Santacruz station has recorded 8.5 mm of rainfall till evening. <br/><br/>Across Maharashtra too, heavy rainfall is being witnessed across Konkan, Vidarbha, Ratnagiri and some parts of Raigad district and Marathwada region. <br/><br/>The Met department has forecast rain and thunderstorm accompanied by strong and gusty winds to again hit some parts of Mumbai and suburbs tomorrow. The civic body has requested people not to venture near the sea as a tide of 4.5 meters is expected to hit Mumbai shores at about 1 PM.<br/>
