The onset of Monsoon over Kerala is likely to be slightly delayed this year. According to India Meteorological Department Director B.P. Yadav, the southwest monsoon is likely to set over Kerala on 7th June.<br/><br/>The normal monsoon onset date is June 1 when it reaches the state. The Met department has forecast above normal monsoon this year.
