The southwest monsoon has been vigorous over West Madhya Pradesh and is active over East Rajasthan, Gangetic West Bengal and in coastal and South Interior Karnataka. The MeT department has forecast that heavy to very heavy rainfall would occur in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka today. It said, heavy rainfall would occur at isolated places over Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands today.
