The southwest monsoon has been active over Konkan and Goa and Andaman and Nicobar Islands during past 24 hours. Heavy rainfall has occurred at a few places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places over Goa, North east region and Odisha. Met office has predicted that heavy rainfall would occur at isolated places over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, North east region, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
