Monsoon active over Arunachal, WB, Sikkim, Bihar, J'khand, C'garh & K'taka

Southwest monsoon is vigorous over Tamilnadu and active over Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka. Heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places over North East region. Heavy rainfall also occurred at isolated places over Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh. Met department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall over West Bengal, Sikkim and parts of North East today.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, residents of the national capital today woke up to overcast skies and humid conditions, with the minimum temperature recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius. Met department has predicted rain and thundershowers for the day.
