Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has said that Property Tax imposed in the Union Territory is the lowest in the country but still there is hue and cry. Speaking at a function in Jammu, Mr Sinha said that people pay for purchase of i-phones, use of Internet data and playing video games, adding even those who are capable of paying taxes do not want to pay. He said the money collected from the Property Tax will be used for welfare and development of the people.
