Union Law Minister M Veerappa Moily today inaugurated Rajasthan's first gram nyayalaya. It was set up at a subordinate court premises in Bassi town of the district. He said the gram nyayalaya is the concept for taking justice to the village door-step and will prove helpful in decreasing pendency of the cases. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was also present at the event and both leaders laid the foundation stone for the building.The state government has targeted to set up 135 rural courts.
