The Patna High Court today granted bail to former RJD Member of Parliament Mohammad Shahabuddin in a case relating to the killing of two brothers 12 years ago. A division bench of Justice Anjana Mishra and Justice R K Mishra granted bail to Shahabuddin in the case for want of evidence. A Siwan court had on December 12th last year sentenced him to life imprisonment in the 2004 double murder case.<br/> <br/>The victims' elder brother who was an eyewitness in the murder of his two brothers, was also shot dead on June 16th, 2014, three days before he was to appear as witness. The bail would not bring out the former MP out of Siwan jail as he is facing conviction in other cases.
