<br/>Samajwadi Party leader Mohan Singh is the new party spokesperson. He replaces Amar Singh, who resigned from all the posts he held in the party early this month.<br/><br/>Citing health reasons, Amar Singh quit as party general secretary, national spokesman and from the party’s Parliamentary Board.<br/><br/>Mr Singh, a member of the Rajya Sabha, had earlier attacked Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav for the party’s humiliating defeat in the Lok Sabha by-election in Firozabad last November.<br/>
