Mohan Bagan will clash with East Bengal in the final of the Federation Cup Football at the Barabatia Stadium in Cuttack Today. Mohun Bagan, who already added a leaf to Federation Cup history for highest eighteen times entry into the finals with 13 wins, virtually struggled to meet East Bengal, who comparatively had easy entry winning all four games straightway. East Bengal and Mohun Bagan have faced each other six times in the Federation Cup finals. In 1978 and 1980, both were declared joint winners, Mohun Bagan won in 1986, 1992 and 1998 and East Bengal defeated Mohun Bagan in 1985. Mohun Bagan and East Bengal are the two most successful clubs in the Federations cup winning 13 and 6 times respectively while they have played the finals 17 and 13 times respectively.
