Mohali test : Laxman's superb knock steer India to spectacular victory

India staged a dramatic comeback to win the first test match against Australia in Mohali by one wicket. With 11 runs to win and just a wicket in hand, VVS laxman was joined by Pragyan Ojha and together they helped the hosts to a memorable victory. VVS laxman led from the front with an attacking 73 not out.Tottering at the overnight score of 55 for four and still needing 161 runs for a win, India continued to loose wickets at regular intervals. Sachin Tendulkar made 38, Suresh Raina and Captain Dhoni were out cheaply. It was Laxman and Ishant sharma who brought India closer to victory. Ishant Sharman at 31 got out to a controversial decision by the umpire. It was left to Ojha and Laxman to pull off the miraculous victory.India leads the 2 test series 1-0 .
