Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai arrived in New Delhi, a shortwhile ago, to attend the swearing in ceremony of Prime Minister designate Narendra Modi.

Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Mauritius Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam and Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala are already in the capital to attend the ceremony.

Maldivian President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom will arrive in the afternoon. Bhutan Prime Minister Lyonchen Tshering Tobgay and Bangladesh Parliament Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury had arrived yesterday.

AIR Correspondent reports that President Mukherjee will host a private dinner in honour of the foreign leaders after the oath-taking ceremony.

Tomorrow, the new Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold bilateral talks with SAARC leaders and Mauritius Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam.
