Modi swearing-in ceremony: Pak PM Nawaz Sharif arrives in New Delhi

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in New Delhi to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the Prime Minister designate Narendra Modi.

Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Mauritius Prime Minister Navin Ram Goolam, Nepal’s Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and Afghan President Hamid Karzai also arrive in New Delhi for Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony.

Bhutan Prime Minister Lyonchen Tshering Tobgay and Bangladesh Parliament Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury had arrived yesterday.

AIR Correspondent reports that President Mukherjee will host a private dinner in honour of the foreign leaders after the oath-taking ceremony.

Tomorrow, the new Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold bilateral talks with SAARC leaders and Mauritius Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam.
