BJP leader Narendra Modi has shown above 4 lakhs 54 thousand rupees as income during the financial year of 2012-13. He owns movable and immovable assets of worth of about 1 core rupees in his name.

AIR Correspondent reports that in his affidavit filed by him in English and notarized from Gujarat state with his nomination papers today at Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency, he has said that assets of his spouse Jashodaben is not known to him.

He has said in his affidavit that he has residential plot at Gandhinagar worth of one crore rupees. About his deposits in different banks and financial institutions he has shown deposits of about 63 lakhs. As per his declaration he has movable assets of worth of rupees about 66 lakhs and immovable assets of worth of rupees above 2 lakhs 47 thousand rupees.

A postgraduate from Gujarat University Ahmadabad Modi has said that no criminal case is pending against him and no debt from any financial institution is due against him.
