Modi not appeared before SIT

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi did not appear before the Special Investigation Team -SIT on Sunday. Mr. Modi was summoned by the SIT to produce him before the SIT in connection with a Gulberg massacre of 2002 Gujarat riots.<br/><br/>According to sources, the Chief Minister Narendra Modi is considering legal options- whether he needs to personally appear before the SIT or not. AIR Correspondent reports that the Office of the Special Investigation Team- in Gandhinagar was kept open with all its members present despite the Sunday in case Mr. Modi produces himself before it.<br/><br/>Special Investigation Team- headed by former CBI Director R. K. Raghavan had issued summons to Modi early in March in connection with the complaint filed by Mrs. Zakia Jafary- the widow of former Congress MP late Ehsan Jafary who killed in Gujberg massacre with 68 others. <br/>
