Cross border firing along the Line of Control stopped because of the tough stand taken by the Narendra Modi government, BJP national general secretary Shri Ram Madhav today claimed. <br/><br/>In Kolkata, Mr. Madhav said, after coming to power the government has stressed on the security of the country. Initially there were instances of firing along the LoC. Of course, a section of the media used to say that it was happening because BJP has come to power.<br/><br/>He said, the BJP has also given prime importance to the issue of infiltration from Bangladesh into Assam and steps towards sealing of the entire Indo-Bangladesh border in the state have already started. <br/><br/>The government has also strengthened Country's internal security and has made India riot free. He said, the foreign policy of the Modi government has brought respect for the country from the world over and now the Indians feel proud of their national identity.
