Modi govt spending Rs 89k cr for tribal welfare: HM Amit Shah

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday addressed the 'Kol Mahakumbh' on the occasion of Shabri Mata Jayanti in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh. Addressing on the occasion, he said that Modi government is committed towards the development of tribals, Scheduled Castes, the poor and the backward.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Mr Shah informed that the central government under leadership of PM Narendra Modi is spending 89,000 crore rupees for tribal welfare as compared to 24,000 crore rupees during the previous government. He added that the Modi government had ensured the country's top post went to a woman from a poor tribal family. Mr Shah said the Modi government is constructing memorials to honour tribal icons who played a stellar role in the freedom struggle.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister informed that the 'Kol Garhi', associated with the Kol tribe, will be developed at an estimated cost of 3.5 crore rupees.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Earlier,  Union Minister offered prayers at Maa Sharda Shaktipeeth at Maihar, Satna.</span></p>
