Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi said the Narendra Modi government should focus on governance instead of making tall claims. Responding to Prime Minister's criticism of Gandhi family for disruption in Parliament, Mr Gandhi said job of Prime Minister is to run the government and not making excuses. <br/><br/>He was talking to media in New Delhi today after meeting Pradesh Congress Committee presidents. Mr. Gandhi alleged that even big industrialists are not happy with the performance of NDA Government. He also accused the government of trying to bypass programmes like MGNREGA and Forest Rights Act in different States. <br/><br/>Mr Gandhi said farmers and labourers in the country are distressed but the government does not seem concerned at all. Later, at a press conference party senior leader Anand Sharma said, it was BJP which stalled the passage of the Goods and Services Bill for seven years. He said, his party is always for smooth functioning of the two houses of Parliament.
