Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has plans to invest more funds in the agriculture sector to improve productivity, with an aim to double farmers income by 2022. <br/><br/>Mr Singh was speaking after participating in the inauguration of National Convention of Farmers organized by Karnataka unit of Bharatiya Krishik Samaj in Belagavi. <br/><br/>He said, the Minimum Support Price will never support farmers and it is not the solution to their problems. <br/><br/>The Minister said, value addition to agriculture products and encouraging of allied industries like Fisheries, Poultry Farming and Dairy are the only way to improve the quality of life of farmers.
