Former Prime Minister and Congress leader Dr. Manmohan Singh has alleged that the Narendra Modi government has failed to bring black money from abroad. Addressing an election rally in Guwahati this evening, Dr. Singh accused that the government has allowed two big businessmen to flee from the country.<br/><br/>He said that Prime Minister Mr. Modi failed to fulfill poll promises that he made during last Lok Sabha polls. Dr. Singh appreciated the Tarun Gogoi government for brining peace and development to the state. On the other hand, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi dared Prime Minister and Union Home Minister to prove that his government has given shelter to illegal citizens.<br/><br/>On the other hand, Union Transport minister and senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari said that the Centre has given thrust on the road connectivity of the state. Addressing public rallies at Goalpara and Bilasipara today, Gadkari hoped that people of Assam would vote for a change.
