Government has issued notification allowing the Long Term Visa (LTV) holders of minority communities of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan to open bank account and purchase property for self occupation. <br/><br/>It also decided to issue driving licence, PAN card and Aadhar number to them besides granting permission to take self employment. These communities are Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christians. <br/><br/>Their free movement within states and transfer of LTV papers from one State to other have also been allowed. Last month, Union Cabinet had approved a proposal in this regard.
