Modi criticizes UPA govt for running away from key issues like corruption, price rise, employment & women safety

BJP leader Narendra Modi has criticized the UPA government for running away from key issues like corruption, price rise, employment and women safety facing the country. Addressing a rally at Ghaziabad and Kurukshetra in Uttar Pradesh, Modi said that whenever BJP raises these issues the Congress talks about secularism. He said the congress is speaking a language of communalism after realising that its oft -repeated slogan of secularism has failed to evoke response from the voters.

Modi also took strong exception to the Congress President Sonia Gandhi yesterday's statement in which she had allegedly sought vote on the basis of religion. Narendra Modi also raised the issue of the controversial land deal by Robert Vadra. Vadra had earlier denied any wrong doing in his land deals in Haryana and Rajasthan.
