Modi criticizes UPA govt for running away from key issues like corruption, price rise, employment & women safety

BJP leader Narendra Modi has criticized the UPA government for running away from key issues like corruption, price rise, employment and women safety facing the country. Addressing a rally at Indirapuram in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, Modi said that whenever BJP raises these issues the Congress talks about secularism.

He said the congress is speaking a language of communalism after realising that its oft -repeated slogan of secularism has failed to evoke response from the voters. Modi also took strong exception to the Congress President Sonia Gandhi yesterday's statement in which she had allegedly sought vote on the basis of religion. He also took a jibe on the Congress manifesto saying that it is full of false promises.

Mentioning the Gujarat Model of development in the rally, Modi said , India needs white revolution to improve the economic condition of farmers while UPA government is promoting pink revolution for exporting meat.
