BJP leader Narendra Modi today alleged that the UPA government has divided Andhra Pradesh without taking people into confidence. Kicking off a whirlwind campaign tour of Seemandhra at Madaneapalle in Chitoor district he said the Telugu people were insulted by this act. He alleged that the country has become Scam India under the UPA government. He said the BJP has promised to set up 100 smart cities across the country and Seemandhra will get its due share in the plan. He also said if NDA government is voted to power, it will implement interlinking of rivers which will benefit the fractured lands in Rayalaseema.
Addressing the gathering, TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the bifurcation of the state is a conspiracy hatched by Congress party in which TRS and YSR Congress are partners.
