Navy Chief Admiral D K Joshi made it clear that India will protect its interests in the disputed South China Sea, even if it means sending forces there.

Addressing a press conference in New Delhi on Monday, Admiral Joshi said the modernisation of Chinese Navy is truly impressive and actually a major cause of concern for India.
Admiral Joshi said the Indian Navy continuously evaluate and work out options and strategies.
