India has said , the modern world should accept diversity as an essential reality. Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari said this while delivering a lecture at the Mohammad V University in Moroccan capital, Rabat today. <br/><br/>The Vice President said, Muslims in India live in a religiously plural society for over a thousand years . Mr Ansari was conferred with the Honorary Doctorate, Honoris Causa by the University.<br/><br/>Mr Ansari later reached Marrakesh.During his stay in Marrakech, the Vice President is scheduled to visit Jardin du Menara, the gardens established in the 12th century at the gates of the mountain range in northwestern Africa known as the Atlas Mountains. <br/><br/>He will also pay a visit to the El Badi Palace, a centuries-old ruined palace located in the city. Tomorrow, Mr Ansari will leave for Tunisian capital, Tunis on the final leg of his two-nation visit.
