A tremor of moderate intensity shook parts of Andaman and Nicobar islands on Tuesday. No injury or casualty has been reported. The epicenter of the tremor measuring 5.7 on the richter scale was between Little Andaman and Car Nicobar.An advisory issued in New Delhi said, no Tsunami threat exists for India following the earthquake. It further added that the State Control Room and the Emergency Operation Centres are operating round the clock and the situation is being monitored.
