Moderate to heavy rains continued to lash most parts of Uttarakhand disrupting the ongoing Chardham yatra and paralysing normal life in the state. According to official sources around seventy five people have lost their lives while one hundred fifty houses have so far been flattened in different areas during this monsoon season due to heavy rains.
