Moderate to heavy rain lashed parts of North India bringing respite from high humidity. The national capital recorded a maximum temperature of 31.8 degrees celsius and a minimum of 27.9 degrees celsius on Sunday.
A light drizzle was reported from some parts of Delhi. The Met department has predicted one or two spells of rain today.
Parts of Uttar Pradesh also received moderate to heavy rainfall at a few places as the monsoon remained active over the state.
Met office has predicted moderate to heavy rain at many places in western UP and at a few places over eastern region of the state. Three persons, including two children, were killed in Sonbhadra and Farukkhabad districts on Sunday.
Rajasthan received moderate rainfall in several parts.

The south-west Monsoon has been vigorous over west Madhya Pradesh and active over Assam, Meghalaya and Vidarbha. It has weakened over Punjab, Saurashtra, Kutch, Marathwada and Chhattisgarh.
Heavy to very heavy rain may occur at most places in west Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain is likely to occur at many places in Aruachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, west Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Gujarat region, Konkan, Goa and Karnataka.
