In Jammu and Kashmir, Leh and Kargil cities, their surrounding areas and higher reaches Ladakh area have experienced moderate to heavy snowfall today.<br/>It is seventh snowfall of this winter season. In Kargil, snowfall has been experienced from 6 to 10 am while in Leh, it started at 11 O'clock and is still continuing.<br/>AIR Leh correspondent reports that farmers are happy with this snowfall as it is the main source of water for drinking and irrigation purposes in Ladakh besides glaciers.<br/>Official sources said that the Khardongla pass connecting Leh city with Nubra valley has been closed for traffic today due to heavy snowfall.<br/>
