In Myanmar, a moderate quake with an intensity of 5.4 on the richter scale struck early today. Seismologists said, the tremor hit at 5:49 am local time with an epicentre 115 kilometres north-northwest of Monywa in the centre of the country, at a depth of 105 kilometers. There were no immediate reports of any damage.
