A moderate intensity earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale shook Kashmir valley last evening, causing panic among the residents but there is no reports of any damage due to it. The tremor was felt at 7.30 pm in most parts of Kashmir, triggering panic among the residents who rushed out of their homes . An official of the Meteorological Department said the epicentre of the earthquake was in Hindukush mountain range in Afghanistan. According the MeT department tremors were also felt in the in Rajasthan, Punjab and Delhi.
