A moderate earthquake with an intensity of 6.2 on the Richter Scale rattled upper parts of Pakistan, including the capital Islamabad early this morning. Pak met office said the epicenter of the quake was somewhere in Afghanistan beneath Hindu Kush mountainous region. Panicky people came out of their homes. No loss of life or property has been reported so far. The affected areas included upper and lower Dir, Swat, Bunir, Hangu, Malakand, Shangla, Nowshera, Mansehra, Balakot, Attock, Peshawar and Momhand Agency.
