A moderate earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 rattled southern Iran this morning. The U.S. Geological Survey said, the epicenter of the quake was about 615 kilometers south of the capital, Tehran. There were no immediate reports of damage, but residents in Shiraz said it shook the floor of homes in the area.
