The Election Commission has granted four more days to the BJP leader Narendra Modi to reply to its notice on violation of model code of conduct in his speech at a rally in Chhatisgarh. The notice was issued to him for his remarks terming the Congress election symbol as Khooni Panja and Zalim Haath at a rally in Dongargarh. Modi was asked to give his reply by 5 this evening. Now he has to give it by 20th of this month.
The Commission had served the notice on 13th of this month to Modi asking him to reply as to why action should not be initiated against him for his remarks violating the model code of conduct.
