Mobile courts will be soon introduced in Panchayats, specially in Naxal-affected areas. This will help dispose of cases within six months. This was stated by Union Minister for Law and Justice Veerappa Moily in Agartala yesterday. Inaugurating a new High Court building there, he said mobile courts in Naxalite-infested areas will also instill confidence among the common people. He said, the courts will function like gramin nyayalayas and there will be one mobile court for five or six panchayats. Every panchayat will be sanctioned up to 18 lakh rupees for construction of a court building.
