About a dozen unidentified men on Friday attacked a private television station in Colombo and set it on fire after destroying equipment inside the studios. An Editor of the channel told PTI that the men stormed the television studios and exploded a petrol bomb. Two reporters were injured during the attack that was carried out by unidentified persons at around 0130 in the morning. Meanwhile, the police has appointed a three-member committee to carry out full scale investigation into the attack.
