The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has conducted dynamic testing of prototype train at Charkop Depot before its actual trial run. Commissioner of MMRDA R. A. Rajeev flagged off the Prototype Metro Train yesterday.<br />'' <br />'' According to the MMRDA, it is one of the important activity before starting the trial run. The MMRDA has announced to begin trial runs on the much awaited Metro Line 2A Dahisar to D.N. Nagar, Andheri and Line 7 Andheri East to Dahisar East from March onwards. It informed that the trial runs will continue at least for a month and thereafter commercial operations will begin as planned.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">On 29th of January, MMRDA received the delivery of first metro rake which was unveiled by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.</span><br />
