Mizoram's Sports Minister Robert Romawia Royte pays for monthly ration quota of all AAY and PHH families living in his constituency

In the country, thousands of groups of people and individual citizens have come forward for helping the distressed people during the pandemic. In Mizoram, several Ministers have come up to the urgent call of providing health care kits and food items to the poorer section of the society.<br />'' <br />''In the similar line, Sports Minister Robert Romawia Royte, has set a unique example of charity during the current painful time. Mr Royte today made a payment for the monthly ration quota of all AAY and PHH families living in his constituency. He declared that he will bear their expenditure till December this year for the purpose. The Minister said that this will be funded from his family's savings for the poor, rather than through government funds. Today he has also donated some packets of medical equipment for the COVID Care Centre in Aizawl East -II.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">In another instance, MLA Zothantluanga is providing money from his own income for the maintenance of an old cooperative building which is presently used for COVID Care Centre in his constituency, Aizawl West.</span><br />
