In Mizoram, state wide lockdown is being maintained strictly with people staying at home. Health Minister Dr. R. Lalthangliana said that the state has so far not faced any violation of social distancing during the lockdown.  He said, Mizoram is, at present, one of the best performing state in observing the lockdown.<br />''<br />''Information and Public Relations Minister Lalruatkima said that the lockdown is being enforced strictly due to the united efforts of the church, NGO and government and as the local task forces are keeping constant vigil of communities everywhere in the state.<br />''<br />''Supply chain for delivery of essential commodities including vegetables is effectively working to meet the daily requirements of people.<br />''<br />''Officials said that different departments including agriculture, horticulture, food and civil supply, commerce & industries and Mizoram cooperative federation (Mizofed) have been entrusted to join the local task forces for supply of commodities to the people in all localities smoothly. The local task force has been set up from the state to block and village level.<br />''<br />''Also, since the first positive case was detected on 25th March, the state has not reported any new case of coronavirus thereafter. Health Minister Dr. R. Lalthangliana informed that till date 44 samples have been tested including the infected patient's relatives, of which 43 samples tested negative.<br />''<br />''<br />
